Whit Honea is a slacker, a borderline degenerate, and a daydream believer. He's also our resident expert on casual chic. If it's comfortable, and not heinous, he's all over it. He's quite charming, really.

There will be blood, and possibly some sweat (not shop!) and tears. These t-shirts from Blood is the New Black are yet another example of wearable art where couture is the canvas. What's great about Blood is the New Black is how they give equal time to both the art and the artist, which we like.


Owned by frustrated artist Mitra Khayyam the company has two goals:

1. Showcase emerging artists in order to aid their careers in the arts.
2. Introduce you to artists you may not have had the opportunity to know about otherwise.

Cool, comfortable t-shirts, with designs ranging from love to death, sex, money, social status, nature, religion, dinosaurs, and everything in-between, are just a bonus. Yes, we get the bonus plan, baby.

"It Never Happened", their official spring launch party, is tomorrow in L.A., but that doesn't mean you can't look and/or buy online now. Crazy internets.
