RedSparks: Clothes for babies of all sizes

RedSparks is a clothing company that makes apparel for babies and toddlers. They have stylish, quality clothes, including a line of organic attire. Sounds good, right? Sure, but what makes them stand apart from all of the other fine children boutiques we enjoy talking about?

"RedSparks was founded on an emotion."

Matt and Aline Pfingsten are parents of a preemie, and as such they were faced with many obstacles, not the least of which is the hardship of finding clothes that fit.

Here is a bit of their story, in their own words, from their website: "Our little sweetie was here, yet she was not "here". Her nursery remained cold and empty. Words cannot express what a terrifying time it was for us. Our daughter had a rough start into this world; an experience we will never forget.

...From the very first day our thought was "She can't fit into anything!" All the beautiful outfits we had for her, delicately washed and folded, waiting for her arrival, were put away for later use. She needed a new wardrobe and we couldn't find it. In those days, time for shopping was a luxury we could not afford. We spent every single minute we could by her side in her temporary home in the NICU. When we did manage to slip away to search online for clothes that our daughter could wear, we were consistently disappointed and disheartened by what was (or rather what was NOT) available."

Parents of preemies have plenty of concerns, they shouldn't have to worry about a wardrobe. RedSparks knows that, and they are here to help.

"RedSparks is meant to be our solution to this dilemma. We attempt to provide fun and unique clothing and accessories for preemies and all babies alike, support for new parents, excellent customer service, a basic understanding of preemie parents' fears and concerns and hopefully some advice and entertaining baby raising tidbits to boot."
