Did you know that Sunday, September 7th, is National Grandparents Day? Yeah, we didn't either, but guess who does- your grandparents, and unless you want to be guilt-tripped from Sunday till Christmas (or the gift giving event of your choice) then you might want to start browsing gift shops and card aisles. That sentence was really long, maybe we should have sang it.

If your grandparents are like ours then there is one gift that they will absolutely adore and that is the gift of love expressed on a really ~~tacky~~ fun t-shirt and/or tote. Seriously, grandparents are suckers for that stuff. This is especially effective when the grandparents involved have younger grandchildren. It's a well-known fact that grandchildren are unable to do any wrong, so if the gift is especially lacking (or late) make sure the kids' names are the biggest on the card (although everything should be written fairly large).

We kid, we kid. You know your grandparents better than we do so just follow your heart and do what's best. We'll probably just call our grandparents and wish them a happy holiday. It will be nice to talk to Grandma and Grandpa is good for a wave from the couch- it is football season.
