Thanks to Google and its customizable homepage options, I get a "How-to" of the day each time I open my browser. Today I was lucky enough to bear witness to one of the most obscure and tacky items ever: "How to Make a Bra Purse". First on my list of WHY?s that came up after I read this: The first tip is that any size bra will work just fine -- except that those with a smaller size can only make a mere change purse, while the other side of the spectrum can probably manage to make an airplane carry-on bag.
The instructions go on with steps of cutting, gluing and decorating.
I understand coming up with new ways to use old clothing or household objects in order to recycle, but reusing an old bra? I can't say that I know too much about purses, but I do know that this is definitely a style foul.
