Leave it to men. My boyfriend once asked me what I wanted for my birthday, and I told him to pick up a fragrance that drives him crazy. I figured even if he picks a scent I am not thrilled about, at least I would get a beautiful bottle of perfume in the process. Every girl knows that half the fun of buying a new fragrance is collecting the charming bottles in which they come.
Well, I should have known better. He bought me Kenneth Cole for Women, which smells great, but comes in a bottle that resembles a yellow flashing stoplight. Hmm. If I were a betting woman, I would guess that the next obscure perfume bottle I'll receive is Victor & Rolf's Flowerbomb.
Flowerbomb "explodes into a bouquet of sensations." Flowerbombs packing, however, has been more of a bomb. The hand grenade shaped bottle was pulled from duty free shops at the international airport in Oslo, Norway.
