Stylefoul: The fashion mullet

Fun Fact: The fashion mullet is still a mullet and the mullet has never been good news.

Alright, I won't lie. I had a fashion mullet at a point in my life ... but I was about 7 years old back then and I was in the process of growing out my bowl haircut (a traumatizing rite of passage for just about all Chinese children). Nowadays, all the trendy teens don these mullets ... willingly. It's horrifying. Perhaps it's the delicious irony of sporting a mullet, the hair equivalent of a Metallica fan wearing a Wham! shirt, or perhaps it's poor judgment fueled by all those crazy drugs that kids are doing these days. Either way, in five years' time, we'll look back on this haircut and weep and possibly even combust with shame. The fashion mullet must be stopped. Start carrying a pair of scissors everywhere you go and cutting up every fashion mullet you see.* It's the only way. Spread the awareness, people.

*StyleDash does not actually want you to start running around, attacking people's hair with scissors. First of all, it's not very nice. Second of all, running with scissors is dangerous.

The Avatar star plays the title character in Man on a Ledge, in theaters Friday, and he explains that the edge-of-your-seat thriller has a Martin Riggs/Lethal Weapon vibe to it. "It's like an old '80s movie; that's why I've got the '80s mullet going," Sam says with a laugh about his character's 'do. "Someone said, 'The '80s called and Jean-Claude Van Damme wants his hair back,' which I thought was a great comment."

Yes, the mullet is defnately an 80's thing, when I saw them even then, I though, GEESH, what a funny/ugly hair doo?

People we are in the Mellenium, 80's stylish clothes GOOD, 80s mullets and Metallica,G&R, Tshirts BAD!

Fashion mullets are hideous!!! How can anyone think they look good? A mullet is a mullet, whether you are from New Jersey or you are a hipster.

Hey my mullet is my hair, it is on my head not in somebody's sink or floor, what is with shaving your head when you have a full head of hair. I really think some of these people should be hiding the wrinkles and scars that hair will cover.

LONG LIVE THE MULLET!!!!!!!

All fashion is silly unless it is perfectly comfortable and utile. Pity, not praise, those who dress and act out like, like, like mulletheads.

The Mullet...what can I say? Well, it is the sexiest hair-do of the century....NOT!!!!!! Why would anyone want to intentionally have their hair cut in that style? Maybe they went to bed with a big wad gum in their mouth and had to cut it out. And to balance, cut the other side to match. HHHMMM....possible...not likely. But for those who have a mullet, there's your excuse.

This hairs style is coming back and I think it's great! they look sexy on women and make a guy look like a warrior. Look around and you will be surprised how many women have them. Best of all it make other people angry! Who really has the problem the hair or the people who must make it their business to stop this, with their judgement, as to how the world must look for all.
