AC/DC and Audrey Hepburn together!

A new Gap commercial stars Audrey Hepburn, albeit a scene from the 1957 film "Funny Face," dancing along to AC/DC's "Back in Black." It was quite a sight to see Hepburn, the paramount of classic style, prancing around to the rock chords of AC/DC.

After noticing who exactly it was in the ad, I wondered why Hepburn isn't used more often in commercials. And come to find out, this is the first time in 12 years that a Hepburn film clip has been authorized to endorse a product (PSFK.com).

The commercial is promoting Gap's new skinny black pant line. They've created quite an array of skinny black pants; the flagship of the line is the "Audrey Hepburn twill cropped pant."

The look can definitely be pulled off, but beware, the skinny black pant is a potential Stylefoul if you don't have Hepburn's figure.

I died a little inside when I saw that commercial. Audrey Hepburn, ethereal goddess, queen of feminine style, champion of the ballet flat...used to hock the GAP's horrible crap.

I am sorry but I loved the gap commercial with Audrey! I love all her movies and was just tickled to see her in a commercial, cutting loose and to AC/DC of all music, was very cool!

I loved the commerical, although I was quite confused about what it was for until right at the end. When I saw it was the Gap I had to wonder, The Gap markets to what the 16-25 age group? Probably the only ones that could wear that style anyway, forget it if you've got any curves. But does that age group even know WHO Audrey Hepburn was?

It was good to see a wonderfully produced commercial without selling sex. I loved Audrey's movies and style. I felt that the commercial was trying to sell style. I was sold, I just wish I could still wear the pants and look that good!

I love Audrey Hepburn, and I do shop at the gap occasionally BUT.. this commercial annoys me to no end! It makes Audrey look absolutely foolish, and I get embarassed for her and The Gap when this comes on. Bad move by Gap. >:(

The is the best Gap commercial so far. Why would anyone feel embarassed for her? I love watching it and watching her. She was the epitomy of elegance, with a little bit of quirkiness mixed in. If only she were still around. She's laughing from heaven, about how, after all these years, she still has it!!!

Audrey Hepburn was a delight to see in the movies and always appeared in a ladylike fashion,I just wish I was as thin as her.

I haven't seen the commercials, but my daughter is 20 years old and she loves Audrey Hepburn. She's seen all her movies and her room is plastered with her posters. I think it's great that another generation will get to know her.

At first I was disappointed. Disappointed I think because of how I have idealized Audrey. I didn't want anyone else to re-invent my sacred idol. Then, on reflection, I recalled what her son said about her personality and feminine herosim. I think Audrey would in all likelihood have been tickled by the commercial. I can see her giggling from heaven in her darling feminine way. She was an elegant lady. But she was also a fun-loving girly-girl. Back in Black would have given her a kick (in the pants... lol).

I love the commercial. Everytime it comes on in my house my children all run screaming "Mommy your commercial is on " Audrey looks great in her skinny black pants. Remember, those are all her moves who cares what she's dancing to. She still has it. I'm glad I can share her with my girls. The girl what's to dance. We should enjoy life and join her. I think if she was still alive she would love it.
