It used to be that the options for larger women were pretty woeful indeed but things have gotten far better in the past few years. More and more manufacturers are extending their sizing. Here's my rundown of a few top sites to visit for sexy undies in larger sizes:

1. Frederick's of Hollywood: When my sister came to visit me in Los Angeles a few years ago one of the highlights of her trip was a visit to Frederick's of Hollywood. It was the first time my sister, a girl of generous upper proportions, finally had a sexy bra and panty set that fit properly. Frederick's has a fairly wide variety of panties, lingerie and costumes in sizes up to 2x. And if you go to one of the stores you can actually get fit for a bra, something all women, especially those with bigger curves, need to do.

2. Torrid: Torrid has a good selection of attractive underwear in a variety of styles from cute boyshorts edged in lace to hipster briefs and spangly thongs. Their target shoppers are the young and current crowd so there are lots of bright colors and playful styles.

3. Hips and Curves: Sellers of the darling rumba panty shown in the picture above, Hips and Curves specializes in lingerie for larger sizes and has you covered from the high waist brief to the barely-there g-string.

4. Lane Bryant's Cacique line: Better than they used to be but still not great. There are some fun options at Lane Bryant. Their "Flaunt" section has a few flirty options but overall the selection is usually pretty basic.
