Naomi behaving badly (again!)
On Wednesday, a Manhattan judge threatened supermodel Naomi Campbell with jail time for failing to show up for her court date in an assault trial involving her ex-housekeeper. According to a Reuters report, Judge James Gibbons insisted that if Campbell does not make an appearance on the re-schedule court date (November 15), a bench warrant will be issued. Campbell's attorneys tried to explain the situation by blaming her absence on the paparazzi. But Judge Gibbons seemed unmoved by this somewhat flimsy excuse. The 36-year-old supermodel faces second-degree assault charges for allegedly throwing her cellphone at her housekeeper back in March. Of course, this is not the first time the modeling bad-girl has faced assault charges -- this makes trial number three for cellphone-related offenses. If convicted, the leggy London-born model could face up to seven years in prison.
