Harley Davidson eyeglasses

So maybe Harleys (you know, the motorcycles with a cult-like following) aren't your thing. Maybe loud tailpipes, leather and the open road don't get your motor running. But what about the Harley Davidson eyeglasses line?

With over 66 different models, these are eyeglasses not just for the Sturgis set. Instead, Harley Davidson's got a little something for just about everybody, from club kids to spectacle-wearers "of a certain age".

Yet no matter the design or the demographic, what remains the same is the aesthetic: sleek lines and sporty but stylish design.

So while these specs may never be as fetishized as the bikes themselves, there's a lot to be said for the eyewear. My only question: when will Honda, BMW and Ducati come out with their eyeglasses lines?

What a frigging joke !!! Even Harley is starting to think
it knows design outside its genre. They continue down this road
and their stock will be where it was 20 years ago. frigging amazing !!

I suspect their glasses are of high quality, as many of their products are. However, with that being said, their prices will be inflated by at least two to three hundred percent over the same identical glasses sold anyway else, like everything else they put their name on.

Harley-Davidson does make very high quality products. I love their clothes line. I compare it to shopping at Nordstrom or Macy's. They even have a bargain rack in most of their stores.

I own a Harley and love them... but they need to keep to what their name still represents (for the time being, at least): American Made Motorcycles... maybe some dealer t-shirts, too. When I received a "Harley Davidson" tape player I laughed... then I saw the Made In Japan label on the back and I cried. Integrity to their core value seems to be slipping.

all the harley stuff is overpriced..and MOST of all its old news....they need to stick to motorcycles....and talk about OVERPRICED!....there day in the spotlight is over, boomers are finding that the resale is worst than their cars now....just look at the local trade books at how many are for sale..and very few have any miles on them......the trend is over, the boomers will go on to the next "in"thing

OH!!! All of the negative comments about Harley Davidson are probably because those who bloged them doen't even have 2 nickels to rub together. My whole family are Harley Davidson fans and have been for years. You rock H.D.

First of all, neither Harley Davidson nor the owners of these new glasses will care about resale of their glasses. Secondly, if people want to purchase things with Harley's name on it then they will go out and buy these glasses and for the record, my Harley is 2 years old and I can sell it for just about what I paid for it!!!

Ive bought and sold 5 harleys, and I've never lost money on one yet. You have no idea what you're talking about saying harley's values arent maintained.

I bought a 2006 Fatboy last year. One of he reasons I purchased this bike was it came with 1000.00 dollar in accessories. Well I ended up getting the sissy bar, Chrome footpegs, chrome handle grips, and a small leather bag for the back. This ended up to be close to my 1000 in accessories. Harley makes a great product but is far to over priced! Having the name alone Harley Davidson the glasses will be way over priced. Harley Davidson Manufactures give us a break on these rediculous prices!!!!

First and foremost, I have owned Harley Davidsons before(Wide glide/Fat Boy) and I personally did not care for them very much. Note: I AM NOT SAYING THAT THEY WEREN'T FUN TO OWN. I will state that everyone has their own preferences, and they are free to choose what they like. I am also saying that both bikes were a royal pain to maintain and repair. I'm not sure if these new glasses are of the best quality, but judging from my own past experiences, I wouldn't buy another Harley Davidson product.

I have Harley Davidson eyeglass frames, and have had them for several years. The quality is great. I have replaced the lenses as my prescription changed, and kept the frames. The case has seen better days, but my chrome frames look fine. They didn't cost any more than other glasses frames of similar quality, and plenty less than other designer frames.

My first bike was a '49 Indian Chief, with suicide clutch & shifter on the tank. I inherited it from a college roomate who bailed out of school in the middle of winter, in a snowstorm. I tried for weeks to get the clutch/shift deal coordinated, I only dared in parking lots. Then one night I dreamed that I was riding that Chief all over town & smooth at that! The next day I couldn't wait to get on her, & Viola! rode it forever more, just as in the dream!

Harley Davidson is an American icon and they make the best v-twin bike in the world. I have owned 2 and they are very reliable. Also they actually retain resale value. No other motorcycle company can say that. In a time when our government and many corporations are moving our jobs oversees to get cheap labor HD still builds there bikes right here in the USA.

How good could these glasses be? They do say Harley Davidson on them. That is reason not to buy them. Nothing else they make is dependable. There is the old joke about: If Harley made a plane, would you fly in it? Hell no. Just high priced antique junk. Honda, BMW, and the others don't need to make department store junk to sell in their dealers. The updated and modern bikes say it all.
