i am a huge buyer of boots & someone would have to pay me to wear those and i still would cry while having them on....

Now we all know, if Sex and the City was still on, one of them would be wearing these boots. PS - you forgot Leopold the Magnificent would wear em too!!!!

Actually, with a very basic pair if bootlegs, a simple shirt and minimal accessories, these boots could look really cool. I guess you just have to be the type of person who likes to be bold.

OMG did you have to mention Amanda? Maybe she could use these when she gets lost at sea. G-d know the rest of her is a flotation device.

I love them, I have the personality to sport them. An all black outfit and gold hoops, my hair down, I'd be SCREAMIN HOT!

my friends and i wore these in the seventies (males and females)....
(even had some plexiglass platforms that were made to put a goldfish in...)
it was fun....
let the kids enjoy them now....
youth should be fun....
you just have to remember to have longer length pants to accomodate the platforms....
fashion and youth are a wonderful combination

I would wear gold boots - but I think those are ugly - not the color, the style. they'd be cute with a pointy toe and really skinny heel...and NO platform!

Anyone who says "yuck" is just not fabulous enough to carry them off. I can see myself OWNING the club in these babies. All eyes on me!!! heyyyy.....

These would be perfect to wear with hot pants and fishnet tights, while standing on a street corner waiting for customers.

I have them short AND long! Silver AND gold. The short ones under boot cut jeans and the long ones under skirts (long or short skirts), also over skinny leg pants. The long ones always a bit bunched up, not pulled up tight, kinda like a leg warmer look! Don't knock 'em 'til you tried 'em! Doesn't everyone own gold and/or silver shoes/sandals? This is the equivalent for the fall/winter season. And they look great!

I would wear them to my big sisters wedding and would be the talk of the town , i LOVE them
