Designer Bestey Johnson's first fragrance has launched this fall. Johnson is famous for her bright and bouncy style, a sort of girl-who-never-grew-up chic. Her new perfume, known simply as Betsey Johnson, has a big pink top that dwarfs the small bottle. The scent inside is described as having notes of pear, freesia and praline which makes it sound a bit like another fragrance I got my nose around recently, Juicy Couture's first fragrance. The clothing lines of the two designers have a certain girlish charm about them (and a weakness for pink) so it's no suprise that the scents might be a bit similar. A 1.7 ounce bottle of the eau de parfum sells for $55.
