Wiping out on the catwalk is the new black?
The most memorable thing about Karl Lagerfeld's show last week, for me, was the fact that not one but several models slipped and fell on the super-shiny runway. It's sort of hard to concentrate on the design aspects of a new line when you're cringing on the edge of your seat, anticipating the next wipeout like you're watching a nervous competitor in Olympic ice skating. This isn't the first time a model has biffed it on the catwalk this fall. Elise Crombez went down at the Proenza Schoeler show just last month. I'm just glad I wasn't at this Lagerfeld show... I'm fairly sure I would have been the immature one, feeling horrible but doing a bad job trying to fight off the giggles every time someone went down.

It looks like her leg snapped in half (they're the size of toothpicks) rather than her wiping out on the slippery runway!
