When you hear "
Morphine Generation," you might think of rock-inspired clothing fit for a drug addict. In a way, you wouldn't necessarilt be totally off, since many of the casual t-shirts and hoodies are emblazoned with the Morphine Generation logo that is an intricate crest featuring a skull and cross-bones. However, for
Spring 2007, designer Erik Hart showed that that is not the case, gearing more toward the "Hopeless Romantics" side of his theme of "
for heretics and hopeless romantics alike." For women, the palette was pale and neatral, with nudes, creams, and every once in a while a touch of black. Deidre saw the show, too, and thought it was too overwhelmingly neutral, but I loved it. I almost fell out of my seat with the first piece: a gorgeous blonde herringbone linen hooded trench.
