StyleFoul: the yeti fur coat

I know that celebrities are not always responsible for bad fashion choices. They have stylists working for them, so sometimes the fall for a bad fashion move shouldn't land on their famous shoulders. But celebrities do pick their stylists, and as a result, I think can hold them culpable for the occasional blundering move, like this awful fur coat that Eva Longoria wore around Paris earlier this week. I'm not a huge fan of fur coats to begin with, but she was in Paris, and as they say, when in Paris... And yet of all the fur coats out there, I can't for the life of me figure out why she would wear a coat that looks like it was made of a brutalized yeti hide. This coat is splotchy, poorly shaped and completely overwhelming on her petite frame.

So listen up, people: yeti fur coats are a definite STYLEFOUL!

A small short fur jacket would have looked way better on her frame. She looks lost in the coat.

ANY fur coat would look terrible on her or anyone else. The people who like fur are in the minority. And also among the less compassionate.

let see i agree that killing animals for just their skin is wrong. but at the same time look at all the animals we kill for food, clothes and resources. are you saying that its ok to kill plants? are you saying that they shouldn't be protected? they can't speak and they can't move or stop us. animals can move and are smarter than you think. they can talk too, they just can't talk to us yet. if animals were in our place we'd be slaves and eaten most likely too. i mean who do you people think you are trying to protect animals like this. if you wanna protect them how about keeping their breed from dying off? how about making more areas where they can live without worring about us messing their homes up. i mean can't they have their own state if they are so important? how about making laws that permit only certain amount of hunting of that creature a year? at least this way you'll have more control over what people do. how stupid are you. anyway this is really stupid to be having a debate about. a long time ago man needed food and killed an animal. then he learned that hey i can make clothes that are warm during the cold seasons using the animal's fur. i believe as long as we don't abuse the things god has given to us that we will be able to live in peace.

what gets me is when people put down those who wear fur, yet they wear leather without a second thought. They eat turkeys and pigs that have been locked in cages literally all their lives and chickens who are de-beaked as chicks, a horrifying painful process that cuts their beaks off and kills some of them due to the fact that they can't eat properly. So if you wear animal hide, including leather shoes, if you eat meat, if you squish bugs for fun, then don't be so swift to hop all over people who wear furs because guess what - you aren't so holy yourself.
PS that coat does look gawdy and cheap.

WELL.......what a bunch of "wanna bees", If any of you were as pretty as Eva Longoria you could wear whatever you and not be jealous. But obviously you're not, so leave her alone and all the stars that you wish you were. They have a life, let them live it in peace, because they don't really care what you think.

Fur coats are beautiful beyond description. Too bad we wear them considering the horror inflicted on animals to get them.

In a country where people voted not once but twice for GW ,do you think the majority would understand or simply get how bad is to wear a fur!
Where obesity and diabete are ruling the nation,do you think these people can control anything....
The majority of people DONT get IT,but O,they think they do!

You 'll always get those A-typical answer about well dont you wear leather shoe and dont you eat meat...

listen you momos,no we dont eat minks and bobcats and fox...and what's the difference ,okay ..you know what the answer to ignorance is silence.

Eva is not beautiful, she looks like a friggin horse you could use her as a can opener, and she looks like an idiot in that coat, it looks like it is still alive, maybe it is and it will smother her.

Maybe fiance Tony Parker clubbed the yeti himself. It does sort of look like someone took a dump on it. Perhaps Eva needs a little extra fur after her famed, "liberating," Brazilian bikini waxes!
Sad that she doesn't have the consciousness not to promote the profound suffering of animals, but have you ever seen or read her interviews? Ms. Longoria is not exactly what you would call DEEP, or bright. Fairly self-absorbed, so the yeti skag-rag hardly comes as a surprise. Makes me appreciate Pamela Anderson even more (desipte a momentary lapse in the marriage to Kid Rock). At least she has some principles and some brains.

It amazes me that we come from a people, who began as hunters and gatherers. And used almost all of the animals parts to our benifit, in order to live, cook stay warm and even make useful tools, that which made us the peoples we have became today. The only problem now, is that we have someone to do the dirty work for us, so we don't have to work for our food and make our clothing, guess that gives us as a society way more time to complain about stupid stuff. What else to do, we hardly do anything ourselfs anymore and our society has became a bunch of lazy bitchers. Try living in the woods and doing everything yourself you'd probaly find animal meat and pelts quite valueable to your survival. We are a spoiled nation of soft winers, who have everything we could want except the ability to control others, even though we try. I say be thankful you don't have to slaughter your coats yourself, even you that don't think you wear fur so that makes everything you do right, YeahRight!!
