When it comes to food storage, I definitely prefer glass bowls with tight-fitting, spill-proof lids, or else plastic Tupperware that is clear. That way, I can tell what is inside, and if, God forbid, it has grown something unsavory while sitting in the back of my fridge for eleven weeks, I can just toss the whole thing without exposing my personal airspace to germs.

However, when it comes to handbags, I am not so sure. Do I really want to run around the city exposing every single thing in my purse to the world? I know there is curiosity about what people carry in their bags, and who wouldn't to display to the world all the lovely things we have -- a Gucci wallet, your SmartPhone, and maybe even that cute, fuzzy little makeup bag. But come on, there are certain things we just don't want to, or shouldn't, show. I know I wouldn't feel comfortable exposing my whole life to everyone in line at the grocery store with this giant Dior Diorissimo pvc lined purse!
