Today is Triple Time Tuesday. I will be working all day, need to meet pals for an early dinner, then head out to a party (yes, I realize it's a school night, but I'll be home early). On any other day, I'd have no problem handling three different "engagements," but that's usually when I have the luxury of coming home, relaxing for a few minutes, then shifting gears. And changing outfits.Today is not such a day and I need one dress that will work for all three: work, dinner, bar. The Turtleneck Cocoon Dress from 3.1 by Phillip Lim seems to be the dress, with a modest turtleenck and 3/4 length sleeves, but sky-high hemline. It is short, so it goes to work as a "tunic" with a pair of jeans (I work in a very casual office) and comfortable flats. As soon as it hits 5:00, I change the flats to some killer stilettos, then when it's time to go out on the town at night, the jeans come off and I'm magically in a minidress with heels.
