With the fall season being a great time to be with friends outdoors, what better way to spend it than with a new grill. And it's darn near impossible not to impress your friends with a nice, big, stainless-steel grill in your backyard. It's what makes me want to start saving my pennies for a Kalamazoo Grill. Kalamazoo grills aren't your standard black charcoal grills or even seemingly high-priced gas grills. They are the "biggest, meanest, off-the-charts grill in the land," as the website puts it frankly. As customizable as these grills are (they offer a complete appliance and storage module catalog to purchase with the grill), you can turn your patio into a serious gourmet kitchen.
The "Bread Breaker" is their fairly standard model, but I'd say it's incorrectly named. It should be the "Bank Breaker," as prices start at $6,990. But it doesn't stop there -- the highest-priced grill on the website checks in at a whopping $21,950! Sure, the grill comes paired with granite countertops and can cook with hardwood, charcoal, or gas -- but a grill for more than $20,000? I first saw these grills featured on the Travel Channel's "Billionaire Toys," and one lucky billionaire spent more than $50,000 for his Kalamazoo -- fully customized of course.
These are for the ultra-rich and über-stylish, I'd say. If you had the money to spare, would you feel comfortable spending that much on a grill?
