Who has not been in Vietnam lately? Last week, world leaders (including Germany's Angela Merkel, Australia's John Howard, Russia's Vladimir Putin and the United States' very own George Bush) showed up for an economic summit in Ho Chi Minh City. Now it turns out that while the rest of us were eating turkey and watching football back in Peoria or Scranton (or wherever it is our parents live), Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were spending Thanksgiving in Vietnam.
So, is Ho Chi Minh City the 21st century's St. Tropez? Sure, maybe there's no Brigitte Bardot, but great clothes, great food and cool mopeds go a long way ...
