Assuming that other media outlets will discuss the content of last night's State of the Union address, we here at Styledash wanted to share what has been said about the Congressional fashions of last night. Yes, believe it or not, even the State the Union address has "Who are you wearing?" commentary.
On the Fox Network, reporter Brian Wilson noted that purple seemed to be the color of choice for the occasion. Presumably Wilson was focusing on the apparel of female congressmen, because I surely didn't notice any men in purple suits.
To add to the vapid fashion commentary, Brit Hume then mentioned that Speaker Nancy Pelosi would be wearing a sea foam green jacket. As it turns out, the green jacket was a stand-in for her original outfit which she had stained with coffee earlier that day.
I think it goes without saying that this could only happen on network news.
