It's not women's clothing--it's a kilt. The kilt is historically a man's man's clothing. In other words, it takes a lot of balls for a man to wear something that people just don't get and confuse it with gendered clothing.

Besides, kilts are incredibly sexy *because* the man who's wearing it is obviously comfortable and supremely confident with his masculinity.

Okay, just because historically this "kilt" was intended for men doesn't mean all men should be sporting this look. And just because a big designer put this look on the runway doesn't mean it's good. This outfit is completly unflattering and I wouldn't want my man wearing anything like this at all. Don't get me wrong, I've seen Scottish men in kilts and the cute ones don't stop being cute when wearing it but it's also tradition. This barely resembles the kilt at all and is just plain feminine. And with that tight leather jacket (showing a more feminine silhouette than a man's) and knee high boots, this outfit was just meant to be for a woman. Things have changed (no men don't wear kilts all day everyday like they used to) and although I applaud Gaultier for thinking outside of the box in terms of men's clothing, I still do not like this look whatsoever.

Lol to the girl who just talked about kilts... kilts are only hot when they actually have the tartan/plaid... lol. I hate the print on the skirt, it looks like it came out of my mom's closet in the 70's. I wouldn't even wear it.
