I remember 2 or 3 years ago, when everyone couldn't stop talking about "oxygen bars" -- clubs that sold hits of oxygen to ultra-trendy customers looking for the latest fad. Now the trend may be shifting...to helium.Pure Bar, a club in Belgium that normally sells oxygen, is asking it's customers to inhale helium in a special promotional event for Valentine's Day. Just in case you didn't have a childhood, inhaling helium makes your voice sound like a high-pitched cartoon character -- and is still hysterical, well into your 20s.
According to Gerard Bazzone, the club's co-owner, "Valentine's Day is a special day for couples but its possible to have a party with just two. I wanted to make a different kind of party. Also people who are alone can come here and have some fun."
Sounds like a good time to me.
