It's cold, gray, and raining, y'all, and while that certainly isn't unusual for February, I live in southern California. Isn't it supposed to be something like 70 degrees here year round? And even if it weren't, I swear -- I am almost certain of it -- that several weeks ago, the groundhog predicted Spring's sooner arrival! Why all the whining? Well, I'm just anxious to break out my Spring clothes because the trends that are on deck for the coming season are totally wearable. No outrageous proportions, no crazy color combinations (except of course, yellow, which will just never look right on me). My favorite thing of all is the trend toward "feminine," which includes romantic blouses with lots of lace, ruffles, and delicate detailing -- whether that's a pintucked blouse with flowing sleeves like the one shown by Nanette Lepore or a feminine take on the tuxedo shirt with lots of ruffles.
Look out in the next few days as we go through more of Spring's coming trends!
