Will the style icon movie actress porn star irritating hotel heiress, Paris Hilton, finally disappear from the media?

Probably not. But we're one step closer. The Associated Press is apparently going to stop covering Paris Hilton. Ever. About anything. (For one week.)

According to an email from AP entertainment editor, Jesse Washington, "the print team is planning an unconventional experiment: We are NOT going to cover Paris Hilton. Barring any major, major news, we are not going to put a single word about Paris on the wire."

It's received mixed reactions in the newsroom, and seems to be more of a publicity stunt for the organization than an actual editorial policy, but who knows, maybe we'll be reading about something else for a change?
