Liz Hurley's other wedding dress
By now, you know that actress Elizabeth Hurley actually had two wedding ceremonies. The first at Sudeley Castle in Gloucestershire was traditionally British (gin and tonics, Bentley, light rain). To this event, Liz wore her much anticipated Versace dress. For the second wedding ceremony, which took place in Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India, the happy couple shook off their British sensibilities and gave into the regional traditions of the area. Instead of a Versace gown, Hurley wore a designer sari created by Tarun Tahiliani. Guests were treated to dancing white horses and walkways lined in chili peppers, all of which preceded a week of endless parties for 200 or so guests.
Wedding details aside, isn't that photograph spectacular? I don't know what your weekend plans include, but I wish mine included being lavishly showered in rose petals as my new husband dipped me back romantically in front of a circle of beautiful belly-baring women.
