I've heard a few women bemoan the fashionable half-stockings these women are wearing, but -- especially when you're trying to turn up the volume on something simple -- I think they're great.

Overall, the fun with these three women is in the details. I like the little black belt on the left that works great against the white dress. Plus, the detailing on her sweater keeps what could've been everyday retro interesting to look at. On the right, the biker glove takes a straightforward all black look and gives it rocker cred, and the brown leather belt on the woman in the middle is a surprising choice with the rest of her outfit, but I think it works.

As a side note: the dress the girl in the middle is wearing seems to have been in style for ages. While I think she looks great, I wouldn't be surprised if that's gone come Spring/Summer.
