As I've mentioned before, I'm absolutely smitten with elegant compacts. Chantecaille, which has created beautiful butterfly powders that have caught my eye, has come up with something truly amazing. Their new limited-edition compact designed by Jay Strongwater is a work of art. The exterior features a coral relief decoration. Inside there is a coral designed powder and a flat, semi-circle natural hair brush. The Vitamin C-infused powder has hydrating properties. The compact sells for an amazing $420, but the purchase of the compact does support "Reefs of Hope" a project of the Pew Institute for Ocean Science to mitigate the effects of pollution and global warming on the world's coral reefs.
