No stir natural peanut butter

Peanut butter can be tricky. One impulse tells you to buy the natural PB since trans fats and high-fructose corn syrup ruin an otherwise delicious spread. Yet, natural peanut butter has its own share of vices -- like the fact that you have to stir it.

Thus, Maranatha's all natural, organic no stir peanut butter is nothing less than a stroke of genius. Made with USDA certified organic peanuts that have been specially roasted, the headache-free PB uses organic sugar to add a hint of sweetness, and non-hydrogenated palm oil to create a smooth, stable consistency.

It goes without saying that the no-stir organic PB costs a pretty penny ($4.99) compared to the price of conventional products, but I'd say avoiding the onerous task of stirrin' it up is more than worth it.

There already is a no stir peanut butter, Skippy. 3 grams of suger per serving and it tastes great. And it's much cheaper.
It's just not organic. Lisa

No stir = less than healthy. Any no stir peanut butter has stuff added that is unhealthy. There are now about 15 different code names for refined white sugar. "Organic sugar" is one of them. Another fancy name for it is "evaporated cane juice." No other oils of any form should be listed either. It already has peanut oil. Look for a peanut butter called "Something More." They added flax and honey. Yep, you have to stir it. It gives both arms a great workout!

The only problem is that Skippy has hydrogenated oils. But are we really so lazy now that it is too difficult to stir peanut butter for a few seconds?

Yep, Skippy and the other major brands have hydrogenated oils. Folks, all of this stuff that our food is laced with won't kill you the very same instant you eat it. It adds up over time. We can tolerate a slow steady drip though. It's still garbage and it's still being tolerated by your body. It's not welcomed, it's tolerated. It's like many animals LOVE the taste of car anti-freeze. (Look it up.) Dogs/deer will lap it up like it's desert. All they know is it's yummy on their tastebuds. So. I used to LOVE doughnuts too. Loving the taste of whatever food has nothing to do with it being a gift to your body. Focus and work on self-discipline.
