Heels made from wire: great for fashion-conscious masochists

First we found dresses made from wine, then dresses made from hair, and now shoes made from wire. What gives? Has everyone revolted against using good 'ol fabric to make their clothes?

These shoes are actually pretty cool. I like that you can see through them, and -- assuming they don't bend -- the shape is fairly stylish.

However, they must be the most uncomfortable things on the face of the Earth. Every time we go out, and my girlfriend decides to wear heels, she's in pain if we have to walk for more than 10 minutes -- and that's in shoes made of leather. I think you'd actually have to enjoy pain to pull these off.

Plus -- and I don't want to be a germaphobe -- but wouldn't be just a little gross to walk around the city in shoes like that? Your feet would be disgusting by the end of the night.

It looks like the dead skeleton of a high-heeled shoe, if you ask me.

OMG i totally agree...how impractical these shoes are! And imagine what would get on the bottom of your foot! *shudders*

These shoes are like a "magic trick". They aren't really shoes. The wearer could not rest her foot in them, they would collapse! You'll notice that the only weight is rested directly on the floor, not on the shoes. Also, the shoes are sized way bigger than her feet.

Isn't it bad enough when you have to scrap gum off the bottom of your shoes... or ... not to mention "puppy-biscuits" ....

The whole shoe looks very unstable and "torturesome" ....

And after the incidents with people and dogs dying from stepping on electrical grates on the sidewalk...
well... you get the point...

Well.... with no "fabric" at least your only choice is...
*** "Honey. should I wear the "BLACK WIRE SHOES" ....
..... or the "SILVER WIRE SHOES" tonight...??? "

............................. SGT. ROCK ...

First of all, they don't even look good. I can't get over how stange this is. I totally agree with this article about the grossness of them, and being uncomfortable, but wouldn't this wire cut up your feet too?

as a fashion designer, i think theyd look great on the runway, but as for practicality, yes, they're a little over the edge.

I personally think that they're kind of neat.
I mean who in the world thought of those. Sure theyre bigger than her feet and they might hurt, but hey, since when are heels comfy

OH GOODY!! Now we can spend a fortune of money that we need for food and shelter, for shoes made from hangers! People might want to rethink (or not even think about) wearing these shoes(or even buying them). just think, instead of scraping gum and dog gunka off your shoe, you'll be scraping it off your foot. Now thats when I would wash my feet for 2 weeks straight.

if you look at the woman's right foot, it looks as if she's not even wearing the shoes. she's on her tippy-toes and the heel/bottom of her foot is not even touching the shoe. i dont think that they are real shoes..

Now I know the "average human being" uses roughly 10% of their brain's ability. And the "average blog poster" probably 10% of that. And let's be honest, THAT's most likely being generous. But, are you people REALLY so DAFT as to think that those "shoes" are nothing more than a photo-shoot prop? Really?? Wow, I guess George Dubbya was right!! " The impacts from the inner-nets may not be fully understood for some time! " Boy, such eloquence!. He'd fit right in!

wait...they're joking, right? i don't even see how you could walk in these shoes, never mind them being impractical. yeah sure, you can wear them when you sit down...but...its impossible to actually WALK in them, right? that's crazy. what a waste of money.

plus, to top it all off, THEY'RE UGLY!

Umm, I think it actually IS an art project O.o. Mixed media or craft's. I highly doubt that people would make those for wearing. Can't you people tell the difference between art/photography/craft's from your stupid fashion magazines. If you can't, then really must be as daft as an ape

why? seriously, have we stooped so low to nearly walking barefoot?i'm sure all those rich asses who think thats cool will be disgusted if they see some guy walking barefoot, while they themselves are. i'm sure they'll say"oh no! barefoot! hah! this is only the latest fashion!"

Wow, just wow. How can anyone even think about wearing these cruddy shoes? I mean whenever you look at someone's outfit, you look at your shoes too. If you look from far away it looks as if there isn't even a shoe! Now wouldn't that be a turnoff to your date when you have dog poop stuck to your shoe, not to mention GUM! These shoes have made ugly shoes, look GORGEOUS.... Get my point?
