Dress of the Day: BCBGirls "Brianna" Dress

I am not quite sure how I feel about the floor-length dresses that are all the rage this season. As much as I love dresses, and even floor-length gowns for evening, a long dress during the day seems heavy, restricting, and uncomfortable to move around in.

But not if the dress is made of lightweight, breathable jersey, like this Grecian-style jersey dress from BCBGirls. The dress comes in light jade, has a flattering V-neck with feminine ruffle trim, and summery spaghetti straps. The most comfortable part of this, of course, is that it has an empire waist and ruching at the bust. The hem falls 40" from the natural waistline, just long enough to be long, but with a little room to show off a fabulous pair of gold or silver sandals.

I loved the dress for my girlfriend. Well you can imagine why. Very easy flowing especially where she has lost 50 lbs and this dress serves also as a blanket. The color green or whatever the shade matches her hair when she comes out of the swimming pool. She just glows!
