VIDEO: How to smuggle fake designer bags into the US
Walk down the street in New York, LA, DC, or any major city, and you're likely to find people selling designer knock-offs. "Rolex" watches for $15, "Armani" shirts for $10, etc.
Most of these fake, or "bootleg" designer products are made abroad (where it's cheaper), and smuggled into the United States so they can be sold on the street. But how does anyone smuggle products like this -- that are obviously illegal -- past the strict security at US ports?
The above video from Chomp Chomp shows one example -- in which a bootleg "Luis Vutton" bag has been covered with cheap black leather, and labeled "Made in China." When the black leather and "Made in China" labels are torn off, the Vutton ripoff is revealed.
