Gwyneth Paltrow treats her face with snake venom

That face was perfected with snake venom

Obviously the best part about being a celebrity is having money to burn. You can spend hundreds of dollars on the most asinine products -- like the caviar shampoo Catherine Zeta Jones uses on her hair, or the snake venom cream Gwyneth Paltrow rubs all over her face.

Now either Gwyneth is a particularly gullible person, or the salesman at the Sonya Dakkar spa in Beverly Hills is a very slick talker -- because I can't think of a product less-likely to be good for your face than one that contains venom from a poisonous snake. It's like whoever makes Ultra Lux 9 skincare products is simply trying to find the most seemingly rare and mysterious-sounding ingredients -- no matter how completely random and unhealthy they sound.

It's all fun and games until your faces breaks out in scales.

What a shame that they can't find a good cause to spend their money on. How about a homeless shelter or an orphanage. They are so detached from the real world.
