I'm guessing this is either a freak out, a necessity for some role she's playing, or some weird homage to Britney Spears -- because other than that, I see no good reason for Mena Suvari to shave her head.Remember her as the cheerleader in American Beauty? The hot girl in American Pie? The lesbian performance artist in Six Feet Under? Mena was lookin' good.
Now she looks like she could be Sinead O'Conner's little sister. Or an android from Blade Runner. Or something.
Apparently, it's part of a new Hollywood trend amongst women who want to get their healthy hair back by "starting over." I guess that makes sense. But that doesn't make her look any better bald.
