Move it Mom, it's Dad jeans time
Thought ugly jeans were exclusive to Mom? You're wrong. Dad jeans are not a tall tale, they are true and scary.
Details.com has an article out on the most dangerous piece of denim for men, the Dad jeans. I was on the floor laughing when Details.com described the jeans like this: "The wash? Wal-Mart blue. The crotch? The length of a baby's arm."
Ouch!
Apparently men are afraid of jeans, according to Rogan Gregory who is the founder of Rogan jeans, saying that "Guys are a little afraid of jeans, they don't want to deviate from their tried-and-true five-pocket pair. But you can't wear those with a sports jacket. It's not a tight look. You can't just stick with your 'safe' jeans."
Amen, Rogan!
Details.com warns against going with male skinny jeans (that's just wrong), or trying-to-be-hip torn jeans. They simply advise you to take a good hard look at yourself in the mirror before leaving the house. Rogan also suggests that you stop being so darn lazy and "go shopping once or twice a year." It's not a bad idea guys, styles change and you need to keep up.
Make sure to check out the video by Details.com that runs through all of the fashion Daddy don'ts.

For us cowboy types, and there are a lot of us through out the 50 states, tight fitting jeans are a necessity. Loose, baggy, fashion jeans spell trouble with a capitol T. Wear loose fitting stylish jeans under your chaps, and big trouble, for you will wear blisters where blisters are not meant to be. Likewise, too loose in the seat, and from sitting in the saddle, you will rub areas that are also not wear you want raw spots on your anatomy.
Not wear skinny tight jeans with a dress (western style only please) and a sport jacket? Give me a break, you fashion people need to get out and go west of the Mississippi, try Wyoming, Montana, Idaho and places like that. You will learn a lot. Heck, you might even try looking up some of the rodeo riders from a view years ago, guys like Bobby Delvecio from New York City, a world champion bull rider, or Charlie Sampson, from Watts, California, also a world champion bull rider, and not the mechanical kind. Check with them for fashion. forget this rock artists, hip hop and the like, give them a year, and they are history.
