Hudson Jeans Slim Your Thighs
I won a pair of Hudson jeans last year, and I kind of forgot that I owned them until recently. You see, I am a denim junkie and I have an obscene number of jeans. I decided to stop ignoring the bottom shelf of my denim rack and wore all of my "old" jeans this past week. First was Rock and Republic jeans, then my Juicy Couture jeans, and finally my Hudson jeans. I have no idea why I was so rude to my Hudson jeans because they are fabulous.
There are a few qualities I look for when denim shopping: do they make my butt look awesome? Will they make me look taller? Are they going to slim my thighs? Hudson met all of my requirements, they even got me a few compliments.
Hudson is an Los Angeles-based denim company that is known for its stylish cuts and slimming fits (told ya). Hudson has mastered the worn-in look, which also makes your jeans more comfortable. Hudson's jeans have quite a celebrity following; Jessica Alba, Kate Bosworth, Sienna Miller, and Jessica Simpson.
Looks like I need to stock up on Hudson. Whenever I find a pair of jeans that live up to my standards I tend to hoard them away. I will start with the Glory Basic Boot Jean for a cool $165 at DJPremium.com.

My post is ulitmately not about jeans but I'm responding to the many annoying comments posted on this blog. I just stumbled across it looking for Hudson's.
I bought my first pair of Hudson's two years ago. I wear them often. Even with frequent washing, they still look as new as the day I bought them. Although they only make them in smaller sizes, they prove to be an incredibly flattering fit. To the angry people who are heavier out there...you are just angry with yourself. Do not criticize someone who is a smaller size than you who wants to look slimmer. WE ALL HAVE BODY ISSUES.
As for those of you who like to judge with comments like "I don't know what world you live in to spend that much on jeans, get back to reality"...I have some words for you:
I earn a VERY modest salary as I just graduated college. The only outstanding debt I have is my student loans; I have no credit card debt and my car is paid off, by me and not my parents. I have plenty saved and I'm frugal with most of my spending. I DO live in "reality".
I think the people who are up to their eyeballs in credit card debt are the ones NOT living in reality. If you have that debt, than you are crazier than me. Spending money you don't have at the time by putting it on a credit card just so you can shell out interest over the next few years...only a crazy person would buy things they can't afford. People who live within their means but happen to have means that sometimes allow them to buy $100 jeans are not as crazy as you!
My father always said LIFE IS ABOUT CHOICES. Where you are is because of choices you have made and until you make changes or just accept that you have created your own life...and nothing has just "happened" to you by some sad accord, than you will never be happy and noone can please you.
I choose to sometimes spend a lot on jeans because of the quality and where they are produced. I try to purchase clothing that is American-made. Foreign workers are not only taking jobs away from YOU, they are often times working in oppresive factory conditions. I have done an incredible amount of academic research on this situaion and it's my personal preference to not contribute to such an ugly system bulit on the detriment of human beings.
Wal-Mart should be sued by the American people. Please stop shopping there. Read just one book, not website or blog, but a book about Wal-Mart and their practices. How have you people not considered how their costs are so low? For those of you who are thinking "well maybe we aren't as fortunate to not shop at Wal-Mart", try Target. At least they take care of their employees.
