Dita Von Teese the latest to pose for PETA

Von Teese says neuter your petsPeople for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), the organization fond of standing on its moral high ground, telling everyone they're awful for eating meat and wearing leather, has no problem using naked ladies (or mostly naked ladies) to draw attention to their cause.

In fact, I think they kind of enjoy doing it.

Days after the pro-vegetarian TV ad featuring Alicia Silverstone in her birthday suit, PETA has released a print ad with Dita Von Teese, the model and famous burlesque performer. As you can see, the ad features Von Teese, instructing a dirty old man about why it's important to spay and neuter your cats and dogs in a timely fashion.

I'm sure he's very moved on the issue.

I love Dita, I truly do... but PETA can go to hell as far as I'm concerned. They're a bunch of hypocritical, self-righteous people who support terrorist causes like the ALF (Animal Liberation Front), even though they publicly deny it. I'm all for protecting animals, and I regularly give to the SPCA and other causes as well as rescue and find home for abandoned pets, but I REFUSE to support PETA in any way.

Dear Church Lady,
Do you take on all ads that use sex appeal? If so, how do you have time to eat or sleep?

peta is the biggest hypocrite in the world... they are one of the biggest supporters or the extermination of pitbulls in the world... We're suppose to support so called animal lovers that have no education on the animals they claim to love and want to protect?... they are out for money and money only... I challenge anyone to show me a single good thing these losers have even done for animals in any meaningful perminant way... they do nothing but protest and harrass people, never accomplishing a damn thing... so where's all that money goping?

Jason Ur what are you 12 years old? If you knew what you were talking about you would know that PETA has helped millions of animals. Are you envolved in animal rights? If you were then you would not talk so stupid.
The ad is eye catching, not cheap that is the whole idea. Some people have short attention spans so PETA has to do what then can to get the message across. Try logging on to meatismurder wake up. Hello, we just had a nation wide meat recall. Try logging on to peta.org read and learn before opening your mouth and talking trash.

Yeah they help some but you ask Ted Nuget about them. He has shown papers from Peta theatening his kids because he hunts. Get real ppl if you didn't hunt you would have an overpopulation of animals. You try to neuter a bear and see what happens. Duh

What a bunch of lying hypocrites PETA consists of. They collect millions of dollars from people who don't realize that their contributions don't go to save or help dogs but rather to exterminate them. If they have their way, no dogs would ever be "family members". They don't know the meaning of "saving" or "rescuing" dogs and cats. They are the modern day version of those who spread "the big lie"

I have no use for peta. if it comes down to surviving or feeding my kids bambi with taters and beans sounds good to me.

however we should thank the animal to give its life for ours.

Peta has a higher kill rate than most dog pounds. They have an over 90% kill rate. Ingred Newkirk, or what ever her name is, the spokes person for peta, said in a public forum that she doesn't even like animals, and thinks that the best thing for them is for them to all be dead so humans can't enslave them, and eat them. This includes the horses we ride, the dogs we walk, and the fish we enjoy in our tanks. Please before you write a check to peta, do your research.

Humans do not need MEAT in their diets, It's called evolution. We share 99.4% of our genetic makeup w chimps.....who are vegetarians. Do the RESEARCH. Eating read meats and chicken speeds up the aging process, causes colon cancer, ovarial cancer and other health issues. Asian women eat fish and are predominately vegetarians and brest cancer is simply non-existant.

PETA makes sense..............eating meat doesn't.

If God didn't mean for us to eat the animals, he wouldn't have made them out of food.

The end.

Maybe you PETA haters need to get a life I can see all you do is sit behind computers all day so full of hate. Go outside take a look at REAL life. Try enjoying animals they have just as much right on this planet as we do. And as for you meat loving people. Rotting flesh. (yuck!) If you had the nerve to see what happens inside of these slaughterhouses, I believe you would think twice about what you put into you body. Unless of course you don't care about yourself.
By the way they do have workers there that admit to going out of their way to torture and abuse animals because they take pleasure in it.
I don't know maybe IM just normal, but I don't think anyone with a heart could eat beef after seeing such horrors, and it goes on every day.

number one, I do eat meat.. HUMANS ARE OMNIVORES!!! CHIMPS TOO ARE OMNIVORES SO EDUCATE YOURSELF BEFORE YOU SPEAK.. NOT ONLY ARE CHIMPS OMNIVORES, BUT ALSO CANNIBALS, so you only make yourself look stupid when you speak about topics you know nothing about... Want Proof? Look In The Mirror And Smile... Those Canines In Your Mouth Aren't For Decoration... Vegetarians Don't have them... as for the slaughterhouses, yes I have seen it and I have seen it first hand and it is without doubt a dispicable place... It Has No Respect For life, only the dollar... Bottom line is this, You will never do away with those that love meat... FUR Maybe and should be done away with.. It's Sick, But Instead of trying to Make people vegetarians, why not try passing laws That require Slaughter houses to put animals down humanely in ways such as C02 Intoxication... I Personally raise snakes and they eat rats rabbits etc... But I Respect all animals and all my feeder animals are ordered from a special breeder that raises the animals in clean comfortable conditions and when it is time to put them down they are put into C02 chambers where once the gas is turned on they simply fall asleep in a matter of seconds and never wake up... quick easy painless... they are then frozen and shipped to me where i thaw and feed... Why Is It That Us Humans, well most of us cannot have the simple decency to put down the animals we are going to consume in a humane and quick fashion... some of our food animals after having their throats slit are then dumped into vats of boiling water still alive to singe off their hair... it's sick!!! You will never stop people from eating meet, but we can all stop making these animals suffer needlessly... They are already giving their lives for you, can't you at least give them a respectful, painless, calm death? It amazes me that the word humane comes from the word human, when human is so opposite of humane it's sick... Fight for humane deaths for these animals... it's the only shot you have in helping them, cause besides that, they will just keep going through the saws and having their throats slit... Wake up and fight a battle that can be won and one with a purpose... Humane put down... Everyone knows thats the best you can ask for, but if you got that PETA would have nothing left to ask for donations for...
