What men really think about your underwear

Planning on seducing your man with some ultra-lacy push-up number? Think again.

The Daily Mail recently asked a panel of underwear experts to rate some different options in ladies' lingerie, and the results might surprise you.

It turns out the over-complicated, stripper-style stuff you're likely to find at Ann Summers or Frederick's of Hollywood just doesn't do it for most guys -- in fact, some even find it intimidating. Instead, the looks that got the hottest response from the panelists were far more cutesy -- "those that suggest innocence and fun."

My favorite response to a particularly overbearing outfit comes from Scott Manson (former editor of the men's magazine Loaded). He writes: "This sort of look used to be sexy but not it just makes men think of large Adam's-appled drag artists, which is never a good thing to cross your mind in the bedroom."

Totally true.

Isn't it possible for a straight man to express what he likes about women without making a violent, homophobic comment about men who perform drag, a la Mr. Morgans offensive and childish adams apple 'quote'. I mean really.....sex is about love and sensuality and connecting with another human being being, not about making statements of implied and actual violence against large groups of people. Ironically, Mr. Morgan violates AOL's terms of use by turning this opportunity to make a healthy statement about human experience into a derogatory statement about queer sexuality. I have a hunch that you, like him, studied business or accounting in school, and probably didn't graduate with a 3.85. This is heading somewhere.....I do have a thought about your comment....I would like to suggest the possibility that no one cares what turns you on but you.

I'm sure someone already pointed this out to Ryan, but Mr. Morgan didn't say that - Mr. Manson did. Please learn the proper way to read quotation marks so you can decipher who is talking before you make such a strong comment.

The style, color, texture , etc of the underware is really immaterial. As your one poll responder said a particular style reminded him of a "large adam's apple transexual". My opinion is underwear is made enticing or not by the person wearing it. Some girls look better in jockyes tahn thongs and vica-versa.

II love pantyhose as most women have very ugly feet and I think it would be a turn off to most men, that is if they even look that far down. I think taking off panty hose is a very inticing way would be a hot turn on for your man. It is the undressing in a suductive way not the under ware that counts. I found that it was almost as much fun and turned me on as much as it did my man. Great ending to a great start.

Pantyhose, are you nuts! I hate wearing those constricting things. They never fit right and as soon as you get them on they get a nasty run. I love stockings and garters, I also love the bare leg look in the summer with a great tan and high heels.

the difference is pantyhose cover up everything, its panties with hose attached, stockings are 2 separate things attached with garters and a garter belt.

pantyhose are all one piece, which the hose are attached to the built in panty, and stockings come in pairs, one for each leg, and held up with garters or elastic ( which are new )
