Smells like Kool-aid... and feet!

reebok kool aidFinding the words for this post was nearly impossible. I sat at my desk for five long minutes with my head hanging low, swaying side to side, and wondering why ... why would anyone want a Kool-Aid scented pair of sneakers?

Clearly Reebok bypassed any of those thoughts/ questions because they have teamed up Kool-Aid to create a line of scented shoes. February 1st these sugary shoes will hit shelves (not grocery store shelves) in three "yummy" flavors: grape, cherry, and strawberry. I am a tropical punch girl myself but whatever...

Check out Kool-Aid Shoes!

  • Orange

If the shoes aren't enough you can pick up the matching hoodies, tee shirts, and hats from the Kool-Aid collection.

Can't you just hear the Kool-Aid man now, laughing with delight? Can you hear me screaming in horror? Click here to see more images and please, share your thoughts on these Kool-Aid scented sneakers.

They may be ugly but they sure are comfortable and the person who invented them is laughing all the way to the bank.

They might be laughing to the bank but I am Ahhhhing as I pay them. Crocs style shoes are the single greatest foot invention in recent times. In the past My feet would hurt so badly It would make me want to cut my feet off.

Since getting and wearing crocs style shoes almost eclusively for the last several years my foot pain has been reduced nearly to ZERO. I an walk 8-10 hours at shows and have ZERO pain in my feet !! thats saying a lot!!

30 minutes in regular shoes and I am ready to die. I am now hunting for some size 14 cheap shoes so I can cut the bottoms off some worn out crocs and use them as insoles in shoes so I can also wear regular shoes.

I also happen to LOVE the colors. Orange and Yellow being my favorites. Hard to find them sometimes in my size though (13)

I am nearly 6'4" and nearly 400 pounds. I do not know how I would get buy without crocs style shoes. They are literally a live saver.

While I do not think they are even a little ugly I do not care. The lack of pain trumps your aesthetic values to me :-)

Actually that doesn't sound too bad...I mean they are very bright and everything, and I probably wouldn't wear them myself, but it really is kind of a good idea.

Well lol I thought the scented koolaid shoes were a joke. Apparently not. lol It's cool if they want to have t-shirts, hoodies and all that, but why must the shoes smell like koolaid though?!?! It's not like people won't see the big white koolaid imprinted on the back of the shoe. lol Hopefully some people won't get the idea to not wash their feet because the shoes are scented. lol
But, on a serious note, I would probably buy a pair just as a collector's item. I just don't see myself wearing them.

oi vey. not sure why i keep reading this blog. time and time again this writer just get things all sorts of wrong. yes, this is one time where an opinion is wrong. the cherry on the crap sundae is the writing which is drenched in crap caramel. with clenched teeth, i enjoy the news it provides...alas...this is my way of clawing at this chalkboard-of-an-inqualified-teacher's scribblings in climactic frustration.

these shoes *will* be a hit. i personally wouldn't ravage a pair, but learn a smidge about pop culture before you post a blog about it would ya?

my look at all the pop icon shirts this country has generated: the kellogg's t's, the carebear necklaces, the mr. clean sweatshirts...

my proposal: if these shoes are a hit in any clique, punk or prep, asian or mexican, hire me as the writer. i will turn this blog around so hard, you'll be sorry you didn't wear seatbelts.

Well, my 10 year old daughter happened to walk up while I was looking at this article and said "sweet ! I want some ! Those are sweet ! " (which in 10 year old language means she likes them - not that she thinks they are edible - lol)

I just showed these to my kids while they are sitting here at the kitchen Island doing homework. They had big grins and said "cool". So what is adults think they are silly...they are not marketed for us.
