Grammys Worst Dressed: Carrie Underwood

I'm probably going to get shot for saying this about Carrie Underwood, the darling of the Country Music scene and a winner last night. At least I'll start with this: there is no denying that Carrie Underwood is pretty, and at the Grammys, her perfect blonde hair and perfect face were in full effect.

It was just that her Zuhair Murad gown was really, really, really annoying. I think the last time I saw that open-chested halter top was on Sunset Boulevard, and it's kind of like the dress was suffering multiple personalities. It couldn't decide among Laura Ashley, the Grateful Dead, and first grade finger paint, so it went with all three! Carrie's performance outfit of all-black jumper and thigh-high boots would have been better on the red carpet.

Carrie Underwood could wear a burlap sack on the red carpet and still be beautiful. She is still the most holsum pure girl next door even after all of her success. It is so wonderful to see someone so successful and great remain as humble as she seems to be at all times.Obviously this lady was raised properly...Keep up the good work carrie I love you

I think that Carrie Underwood looked great and she can wear anything and she will make a statement. There is no way the dress made a bad statement. It shows that she is comfortable in her style and does care what people think. Keep up the great work Carrie!!

to speak the truth i am not an underwood fan. i tend to lean away from the country music sceen. but that is not my point. My point is she did win awards which i believe is all she cared about, her love of music and her love of making it showed when recieved her honors. in my honest opinion i think it would be a waste of time to take MY talent of writing to decide "hmm, do i like this celebs dress/tux?" why dont you take a long look at them. yes some of them act better then others, but why shouldnt they us as people put them up to the hightest standered(some of us even go to put them above our religious belief [ and please dont think i am writing this because i praise god every second of my life and im just going on another rave i happen to be an athiest but agian that is beyond the point]) but these "CELEBS" are.... whats the word im looking for?... oh yes PEOPLE. i reassure you they would love to go on vacation with out someone calling the pregnent or claiming that they are in a deep affair on their loved one. But to sit there and put marks on what they are wearing is not just a waste of a good tallent in is shameful and innoying. again i am not the underwood fan but actually i think you should take another look i think she actually looks darling and uniqe more then alot of people can say.

I cannot beleive people are saying the things about Carrie's dress. The night of the show the commentators were talking about how good it looked and how it was on the runway the night before at the Fashion Revue. The one girl said she almost bought it. I thought it was beautiful and it showed the country side of her. Floral print is in this year and she showed it off.

I think ya'll just need to be quiet about Carrie if you are dissing her. She is the most amazing person in the world and NO fame did not get to her head. She still loves her fans and comes on to talk to us on the fanclub and to be honest how many stars do you know that do that...ummm NONE! She cares a lot about her fans, country music, being normal, and her family and friends. She has not changed one bit since she became a star and she never will. She looked so gorgeous at the Grammys and her performance was even better! She could wear rags and still look better than most of the stars that walked the red carpet that night. If you are jealous you need to get over yourself and get help. Stop taking it out on innocent stars. It just so happens that on the post show they said she looked amazing and they are professionals so maybe we all need to stop and smell the roses. I normally don't read these stupid blog things for this reason, but I needed to put my two cents in because I have had enough! Lets all just get over it and keep idolizing the stars that we do!

I wonder what kind of brain-damage-at-birth you have to suffer to be the kind of person who cares about this stuff.

wow shut up you guys, Chris Brown was not "Hot", he looks like a little kid and sounds like puberty left him behind. Carrie is a good singer I give her that, but actually the dress lacks a lot of things in my opinion. The author of this site probably knows a lot more than you people about fashion.
Hence the name "style dash", which would make it pretty clear they spend a lot of time with fashion.

Stop sticking up for her, she is not going to read this and praise you.
Again, she is a wonderful singer, but this dress does not look good.

We all have our good and bad days. This unfortunately was a bad one for her in the fashion department.

I don't think Carrie's outfit is as bad as this reviewer makes it out to be. give me a break, it's not like she came out in neon green polka-dots or something like that. It's a slightly busy print, but it's not a bad dress. I think the affect is that it's not necessarily a "red carpet" dress. A solid color would have been more appropriate. But honestly, she was still beautiful.

(im not a country fan but for some reason she has her own way of sining it and it has only a light touch of country. so i actually like it ) GAWSH PEOPLE! haha
