Letting some stranger jab you with a needle over and over while they dye your skin with ink -- permanently -- takes some serious commitment. After all tattoos hurt, they look awful if you gain weight, and if you're really unlucky, can leave you with a spelling error forever etched into your neck -- so trust me kids, it's not a decision to be made lightly.Unless you're Scarlett Johansson. She showed up at the London premiere of her new movie, The Other Boleyn Girl, adorned with this odd little decoration. Is it real? Just temporary? Did she steal it from a 10-year-old girl? Nobody knows.
But the overly-cutesy, ocean scape certainly leaves something to be desired, design-wise. Maybe it's a symbol for whatever pseudo-religious, trendy Hollywood cult thing she's into these days, or maybe it's an indication that Scarlett secretly decorates her bedroom with frilly pink unicorns jumping over rainbows and excessive amounts of Hello Kitty schwag.
Whatever it is, let's hope it washes off.
