PETA is crazy. If you don't want to wear fur - then don't wear it! But don't try to infringe your beliefs upon others and tell them they shouldn't wear it or decide to call them skanks, streetwalkers, etc. because they wear fur. Huh, how old are these people who belong to PETA 10? Certainly no older than 15! These people just want something to jump on a bandwagon about. I wouldn't be surprised if some of these same people who slam people for wearing fur are enjoying steaks and pork chops for dinner. They probably have all kinds of leather shoes and purses and use all sorts of products tested on animals - make-up, prescription meds, who knows what else. Many celebrities jump on the PETA bus claiming to want animals protected but they live in all of these areas that used to be highly populated by animals but animals were driven out by construction. They don't care about that as long as they have a beautiful home in the valley or on a hilltop!!

I find PETA rude, and offensive. Reminds me of the line spokein by Michael Douglas in Wall Street. " WASP, love animals... hate people!"

I wouldn't spend money on a fur because I don't find wearing one appealling but you can win people over with a little tact. The comments in this story are offensive. How about a little R-E-S-P-E-C-T for others!!!

I don't wear fur, even though I like it. But if you kept f_ with me like you do others just out of spite I would ignore your cause. So maybe you should take another approach like hanging yourself.

How do you know they didnt mean extra poundage as in her FUR JACKET, as in shed that..not her weight..yeah you go tell a woman of color shes too fat, they tryed to do that with TYRA what she say? SO WHAT.
Im not a PETA freak, but they do have a point. It all depends on your own moral standards.

why must they be nasty to get their point across. that just makes people tune out anything worthy they make to say. rudeness never solved a prob. gets some class already. if they must go there some of those peta people look a hot mess them selves

PETA suggested that Aretha was fat. Oh my God, shame on them. I mean calling Lindsay Lohan "skanky," Kate Moss a "super tramp," and Eva Longoria a "streetwalker" isn't d-i-s-r-e-s-p-e-c-t-f-u-l, right? The only reason PETA didn't need to highlight Aretha's formidable poundage is that it's quite an apparent, larger-than-life reality.

Screw PETA. I love animals...usually with a little ketchup of A1.

Society is so messed up. FUR LOOKS BEST ON ITS ORGINAL OWNERS. When it's ok to have people coats, then I'll wear rabbit.

In the real world, PETA means People Eating Tasty Animals.

I tried making a coat out of lettuce but it just didn't hold up. Then I tried spinach. Damned if it didn't fall apart, too. Guess I'll just stay with fur.

I am, however, founding my own organization, PASHAW (People Against Stupid, Hypocritical Animal Worshippers). Our logo will be a crossed fork and knife superimposed over a porterhouse steak.
