Pay to be famous
In case you're rich but not famous, no need to worry anymore. You can now fake it. For the mere price of only $1,500 dollars you can now pay to have your very own set of paparazzi to follow you around and harass you as if you were Britney Spears or Nicole Richie. If you go through agency Celeb 4 A Day, you'll even land yourself on the cover of MyStar Magazine. This is a new trend with people who have a little extra cash to spare and want to feel as if they are truly VIP. Agencies have sprung up in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Austin because of the high demand.
According to one sociology professor, people are so into the idea because everyone wants to feel that their life has been documented, "We live in a culture where if it's not documented, it doesn't exist. And if you don't have people asking who you are, you're nobody."
You can call me a nobody, or you can just call me a blogger who doesn't have $1500 to shell out for a day in the fake limelight.
What do you think?
| That's a ridiculous idea, think of all the starving children in Africa you could feed with $1,500! | |

| That's ridiculous. But, who am I kidding, if I had $1,500 I'd totally do it. | |
| Eh, who cares, someday I'll be famous and I won't have to pay for paparazzi. |
