Karl, can we play with your toys?
As we've mentioned, our economy kind of sucks right now.
In fact, our dollar is so weak that hoards of British birds and blokes are flocking to New York City to take advantage of their fortified Euros and British pounds at places like Barneys and Saks.
Suffice it to say, the Europeans are living quite "comfortably" right now. In particular, the citizens of-Paris.
Several high-end fashion brands in the city are experiencing major design overhauls inside their boutiques. This season, fashion critic Suzy Menkes went to Paris to check out all of the new haunts: Just Cavali, Yves Saint-Laurent, Givenchy, Fendi, Sonia Rykeil.
Our favorite makeover would be that of Fendi. In part, because of the amazing toys Karl Lagerfeld occupies the space with. We would tell you more, but we couldn't do the new spot justice -- so check out the above video from the International Herald Tribune!
PS: Here's our favorite new spring Fendi baguettes -- enjoy!
