Whenever a stunning model-actress-whatever is bombarded with questions on the red carpet about how she keeps her skin looking so clear and healthy, her answer will always have something to do with getting the suggested eight hours of sleep every night and consuming lots of water everyday. You know, bulls***.
They always conveniently leave out the parts about how they spent weeks on a waiting list trying to get the facialist that makes Jennifer Lopez look as if she's still in her mid-twenties or the tidbit about getting a nose job to match that fabulous new skin.
Anyways, there is a bottled water company claiming to be able to give us "regular folk" the same glowing skin that some of our favorite celebrities have for a fraction of the cost.
And how will they make our pores look as tight as our twelve-year-old cousins, you ask? Well, they've invented a new water substance called Beauty that contains the ingredient Praventin, which apparently has been proven "to reduce the development of the bacteria responsible for many skin impurities, helping prevent the formation of blemishes and spots due to its antimicrobial effects."
Yeah, this seems a little too good to be true to us, too. Generally speaking, all water -- regardless of who bottles it -- is a contributing factor to good skin. Practically every dermatologist will tell you this. The only thing we know for sure about this drink is that its bottle is really beautiful. Period.
What do you think? Are you believing the hype?
