Last month, Nylon magazine placed Chloé's perfume girls -- Clemence Posey, Anja Rubik, and Chloë Sevigny -- on its April beauty issue.

To celebrate all of the Chloe synergy (cover and person), the fashion magazine tapped Sevigny to host its ninth anniversary party a couple of weeks ago.

Well to everybody's surprise (the guests, the editors... the people who put her on the cover), the Big Love actress didn't show up. At all.

Nope, she didn't even due the fashionably late thing, which is usually followed by a gracious fifteen minute walk around the event and a quick exit. In fact, Sevigny was no where to be found. It was as is if she had completely fallen off the face of the earth.

So, where did the blonde thirty-something go? Apparently, she "collapsed" on her way to the swanky shin dig due to a nasty viral infection that she acquired probably because of some food she ate.

While her excuse could very well be true (we doubt it), it doesn't seem as if Nylon was buying it. Or at least that's what their blog would lead us to believe. The only commentary from the mag about the party was a post entitled "Off with her head" which featured a slice of cake with Sevigny's face on it.

Is it kind of creepy? Yes. But the boldness is simply beautiful.
