Madonna is a bra-burning, blasphemous crucifix mounting sort of a feminist. So nothing about this story really surprises us. Madonna used her maiden name to buy a $7 million dollar Central Park apartment in N.Y.C., which just adds fuel to the fire -- are she and Guy Ritchie and the rocks?

Like we said, we're not shocked that Madonna is into using her maiden name -- lots of women are. But, apparently everyone in England thinks this is signaling the beginning of the end for the Ritchie family.

The only Madonna story that really surprised us this weekend was the outfit she wore to the premiere of "I Am Because We Are." In her short hippie style patterned dress, the outfit seemed much trendier than anything she's worn recently.



For the last couple months all we've seen her in is black -- let us jump on the divorce rumor bandwagon too -- maybe that means she's mourning the death of her marriage. *Sigh. We're joking, we promise.

Maybe it's the feminist in us, but we think divorce rumors over a maiden name are kind of ridiculous. Although we'll be the first to eat our words if the predictions become true, we're keeping our fingers crossed that this power couple keeps on keeping on.
