Wentz's choices here make it pretty easy to see why he's become the darling of youth fashion -- he tweaks all the casual elements just a little bit and pulls it off. The black hoodie over the airbrushed beach shirt. The black jeans with the red Vans. It's the look of carefully planned apathy -- and Pete's got it down to a science.
Some might spend time choosing the right hat, some the right hoodie -- Pete Wentz just says screw it, wear both. While the double-bagged look is actually not visually offensive, we hate to sweat, so it's probably not a look we can recommend.
While we find it somewhat disappointing that a guy from a band as annoying as Fall Out Boy can go on to have a successful fashion career, we have to hand it to him -- he's pretty industrious. He's got his own fashion label, makeup line (for men), and he's managed to shack up with a recently photoshopped version of Ashlee Simpson.
