Last week, fashion blogs began whispering that designer Alber Elbaz would be temporarily giving up the flirty frocks he's become known for at Lanvin to create his first line of jeans with Acne. Well, now it seems he's not the only popular French man wanting to give J Brand a run for their money.
After saying auf wiedersehen to Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton and leaving his post as Dior Homme's creative director, Hedi Slimane is rumored to be in talks once again with LVMH chairman, Bernard Arnault, about creating his own line, along with a possible collaboration with Diesel. Since the rumor first emerged, it's been said that Hedi will take over the reigns of Deisel's Red Collection, in particular.
Hopefully the collection won't just be for men. But then again, his clothes were always made to flatter the skinny frames of Kate Moss and Agyness Deyn.
