T-Shirts for the Sedaris, Rooster set

Whit Honea is a slacker, a borderline degenerate, and a daydream believer. He's also our resident expert on casual chic. If it's comfortable, and not heinous, he's all over it. He's quite charming, really.

It's hard to think of a company called You Can't Kill the Rooster without Alice in Chains coming to mind:

Here they come to snuff the rooster
Yeah here come the rooster, yeah
You know he ain't gonna die
No, no, no, ya know he ain't gonna die

See, that was hard, wasn't it? Glad we got it out of our system.

You Can't Kill the Rooster sells t-shirts, hats, aprons and BBQ sauce. Yes, BBQ sauce. The company is founded by, and based upon the nickname of, one Paul Sedaris. Granted, he's not as popular as his siblings David or Amy, but he's garnered more limelight than the rest of the Sedaris bunch and he's using it to his advantage. Hence, t-shirts (and hardwood flooring).

The shirts themselves have a certain je ne sais quoi, if you will, that wouldn't necessarily catch our eye, but factor in the novelty card and the irony one might associate to the Sedaris name on such products, and therein lies the appeal.

You may not be able to kill the Rooster, but you can wear him.
