Last weekend, while cleaning out our closets (no pun intended), we stumbled upon one of our sixth grade Christmas lists. On the crumbled piece of paper, a bike, the Britney Spears ...Baby One More Time album, and a Juicy Couture track suit all had triple asterisks next to their name, which means that our twelve-year-old selves had to have these items when the new millennium rolled in or we were going to totally die!
While the metallic purple bike and B. Spears album made their way into our possession on Christmas day, our parents gave the proverbial "hell to the no" to the matching velour two-piece. It was something about seeing the word "juicy" written across our tiny ass that didn't sit well with our dad, in particular.
As we got older and obtained a better grip on reality (thanks Oprah), we began to understand that our Christmas disappointment was actually due to good parenting skills rather than someone trying to ruin our lives. As a consequence, even as adults we still can't bring ourselves to drop the $200 it takes to purchase the cheeky sweatpants and hoodie at places like Shopbop.
So, we want to know: Are you still wearing your cherished Juicy Couture logo track suits or have you shied away from them like us?
